In Daniel Bryant’s 2019 talk at Agile on The Beach he shares several lessons learned from real world consulting experience working with teams deploying to cloud native platforms like Docker and Kubernetes.
All of us are creating software to support the delivery of value to our customers and to the business, and therefore, the developer experience from idea generation to running (and observing) applications in production must be fast, reliable, and provide good feedback. Daniel uses his real life experience to identify strategies to help developers deploy more effectively and efficiently.
Daniel Bryant works as an Independent Technical Consultant, and currently specialises in enabling continuous delivery within organisations through the identification of value streams, creation of build pipelines, and implementation of effective testing strategies. Daniel’s technical expertise focuses on ‘DevOps’ tooling, cloud/container platforms, and microservice implementations. He also contributes to several open source projects, writes for InfoQ, O’Reilly, and Voxxed, and regularly presents at international conferences such as OSCON, QCon and JavaOne.
