Once you finish editing your draw.io diagram in Atlassian Confluence, click “Save and Exit” to save it and return to the page editor. If this was a new diagram, you’ll be prompted to enter a name for the diagram.
To maintain a consistent and integrated Confluence page and diagram revision history, you can’t rename the diagram file after you create it. Instead, copy the content of your existing diagram into a new draw.io diagram on that page instead of renaming the files in the attachment list.
If you mistakenly clicked “Exit” without saving your diagram, don’t worry! Simply insert a new draw.io macro into your page, and you’ll see the diagram you had been working on in the recent diagrams list.
