Repeating the steps of a process as a way of practicing continues to acclimate workers to Standardized Work. Training Within Industry’s Job Instruction method sees this idea being implemented in real time. The steps can be applied to many different kinds of work, even folding a t-shirt. The four steps of TWI are:
– Prepare the worker
– Present the job
– Try out the job
This re-visit to this 2013 video from the LEI archive is not only as relevant as ever, but has also been revamped with improved editing and video effects that help accentuate TWI’s four step process.
