How to Build Stable Agile Teams and Teams of Teams


Most companies start off with Agile in the project context; they have Agile teams within a project. They realize that stable teams that last beyond just a project are a better answer. You want create stable teams in order to be independent. The best answer is to group those stable teams into teams of teams. Teams of teams are groups that work together to achieve a common goal: larger products or value streams for business intent. They have a shared mission and work for a common good, rather than as individual teams. Getting there takes work. It requires training and coaching.
