Clay Moerland, an undergraduate assistant at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, describes the projects that made him the winner of LEI’s 2012 Excellence in Lean Accounting Award. Moerland worked with professors on a professional article about lean accounting and a simulation for teaching lean principles.
