Agile Methods are Dangerous – Julian Holmes, ThoughtWorks – Agile on the Beach 2018

Watch this session from Julian Holmes at Agile On The Beach 2018 entitled ‘Agile Methods Are Dangerous’.

We all know that adhering to the principles of Agile can bring benefits to an individual, team or organisation. However, whilst Agile methods can help in realising those benefits, they can also bring a lot of danger to their users. In this session Julian explores what those risks are, how to avoid them, and the advice we should give others when they embark on an Agile journey.

As a reprise to the light-hearted lightning talk Julian delivered at AOTB2017 (https://youtu.be/fqlBFK6BwcI?t=14m45s), this presentation expands upon the topics that Julian introduced, provide further explanation to his reasoning, and highlight how these sometimes comical observations can cause real damage to an organisation.
