Despite the early progress of lean thinking in government and its growing presence in healthcare, we aren’t using its concepts to move the economy into a growth trajectory to escape The Great Stagnation that followed The Great Recession.

“Why isn’t the public debate on the economy focused on how we can take out waste and create value faster to launch a new economic boom? Why isn’t the lean community part of the discussion?”
